About MAISEN

MAISEN has specialised in plastic pelletizing machinery since 1996. Working to a principle of “low noise, little dust”, it builds strand pelletizers, cutting rotors, bed knives and end-of-line auxiliary equipment.

MTU Global represents MAISEN pelletizing lines in Türkiye, supplying both new machine investment and rotors and knives for pelletizers already in service.

Technology

Key capabilities

MSX series

Belt-driven portal-type dry strand pelletizer; ≤ 2,300 kg/h, up to 63 strands, 140 m/min.

MSM series

Direct-driven portal-type dry strand pelletizer; ≤ 1,500 kg/h, 120 m/min, high breakaway torque.

MSSX series

Water strand pelletizing; MSSX-H horizontal and MSSX-V vertical layouts, 2,500 – 16,000 kg/h.

Safety

Fully enclosed cutting chamber, three interlocked safety devices, automatic detection.

Rotor

WS, Stellite, PM, HM-G and HM-F materials; carbide and ceramic bed knives, replaceable cutting insert options.

Manufacturing

CNC machining, 3D metrology, concentricity inspection and dynamic balancing; traceability through regrinding and maintenance records.

Auxiliaries

Strand cooling trough, vibrating screen, conveyor belt, vibrating elevator, air knife.

Service

A lifetime digital file and full traceability for every machine; the manufacturer runs three service centres in China. Service coordination in Türkiye is handled by MTU Global.

Product range

Series and systems

Large-diameter pelletizer

200 mm rotor: higher peripheral speed at the same rpm, a smoother cut. For dusty materials such as ABS, PC, PC/ABS and SAN.

Small-diameter pelletizer

The most common type on the market; easier maintenance, broad application range.

Direct drive, single inverter

Higher torque in the same configuration, fast cleaning and maintenance; for reinforced and filled materials.

Synchronous belt, single inverter

Higher capacity from the same motor with lower noise; more stable with the motor mounted underneath.

History

From a single machine to a complete line in thirty years

1996
Nanjing Lishui Jincheng Cutter Factory founded.
2001
Grinding equipment and technology of the Hanzhong Machine Tool Factory acquired.
2002
Machining and grinding of cutting rotors began for chemical and raw material pelletizing.
2005
Renamed Nanjing Dingjiu Machinery; production scaled up.
2015
Nanjing Maisen Intelligent Equipment founded; plastics pelletizing established as a separate business.
2016
First high-capacity pelletizer commissioned at the Lotte plant.
2017
First water strand pelletizing line started up at Suzhou Lixin Chemical Fiber.
2024
Underwater pelletizing system developed and put into customer trials.
