Plastic pipe extrusion systems

We supply extrusion lines for HDPE, PVC, PPR and PERT pipe, corrugated pipe, microduct, automotive hose, braided TPV hose, drip irrigation pipe and custom pipe applications.

Depending on the process, we configure complete lines built from extruder, die, vacuum calibration, cooling, haul-off, cutter, coiler and line automation.

KUNWEI twin-screw compounding line with feeding platform
02.2

Twin-screw compounding systems

KUNWEI brings decades of polymer processing engineering together in high-torque twin-screw extruders and application-specific compounding lines. Screw shaft, screw elements, barrel and gearbox are designed as one system, so stable throughput, repeatable product quality and energy efficiency are pursued together rather than traded off.

In a twin-screw extruder the shaft, the screw elements and the barrels each face different mechanical and chemical loads. Materials are therefore chosen per component and per recipe: KT18 shaft steel where torque is the limit, powder-metallurgy screw elements for abrasive and corrosive formulations, and barrels either bimetallic-lined or laser-clad with nickel-based tungsten carbide.

The meaningful measure of energy efficiency in extrusion is the energy spent producing one kilogram of on-spec product. Drive efficiency, screw geometry, feeding capacity and temperature control are addressed together to reduce electricity consumption per unit of output — and any comparison should be made on kWh/kg measured at the same product quality.

Pelletizing and cutting systems

We bring MAISEN and POLYCUT pelletizing technology to producers who take equipment selection seriously in compounding, masterbatch, engineering plastics, elastomers and virgin polymer. The portfolio runs from laboratory and pilot scale to high-capacity industrial lines, covering dry strand pelletizing, water strand pelletizing and die-face underwater pelletizing.

The value of a pelletizing line shows in the pellet quality it holds over a full production run. Consistent pellet size, a clean cut, controlled surface moisture and easy maintenance together decide how the material behaves downstream and what the plant actually costs to run.

Alongside new machine investment, we supply cutting knives, rotors, die plates, cutting chambers and other wear parts for pelletizers already in service. The stated 25 kg/h – 50 t/h range describes the combined portfolio of different models and project-specific systems; real capacity is set by the polymer, the filler loading, the target pellet size and the line configuration.
